At The Skin Retreat in Little Rock, Arkansas, we specialize in helping our patients obtain optimal results. We offer a non-surgical procedure using Sculptra, which corrects volume loss and redefines the face into a more youthful appearance. Poly-L-lactic acid injections stimulate your body to form new collagen over time naturally!
How Does It Work?
Sculptra treatments are a way to restore the framework/structure of your skin. Made of PLLA, Sculptra gradually stimulates your body’s own natural collagen to replace lost volume and structure.
Sculptra is injected over 3-4 treatments weeks to months apart. Our typical rule with Sculptra is for every decade you inject one vial. So, for example, if you are in your fifties, you will most likely need around 5 vials.
Why Choose Sculptra?
Sculptra filler is an injectable collagen stimulator that provides lasting aesthetic rejuvenation with minimal downtime. Not only does it add the desired volume for younger-looking skin, but it also stimulates the production of natural collagen for a more lasting result.
It’s fast-acting, with visible improvements appearing as soon as around four weeks, with enhancements typically lasting up to two years and beyond with some patients. Additionally, Sculptra filler works on multiple areas, including cheeks, temples, chin, and jawline, for a natural-looking appearance that can restore facial structure and volume.
Sculptra is also one of the safest cosmetic treatments available due to its unique method of volumizing using L-lactic acid, naturally found in your body’s cells.
Benefits of Sculptra
Sculptra Aesthetic is the perfect choice for a more refined, youthful appearance. Its collagen-stimulating properties provide significant improvements gradually, with no invasive lasers or chemicals required, making it one of the safest non-surgical treatments available today.
Using medical-grade synthetic materials, this collagen stimulator works deep in the skin to reinforce its structure. With Sculptra, you can rebuild your skin’s framework over time to achieve long-lasting effects that keep you looking naturally younger!
What treatments pair well with Sculptra?
Sculptra is a popular dermal filler that helps to restore lost volume in the face, smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. As part of a comprehensive facial rejuvenation plan, Sculptra can be combined with other treatments such as Botox, injectable gel fillers, and skin resurfacing procedures like laser resurfacing to achieve the best results.
Combining these treatments with Sculptra for perfect harmony allows you to get the natural-looking results you seek without appearing overly done.
Before, During, and After
What to Expect Before Sculptra Filler
Sculptra filler is an advanced facial cosmetic treatment that can help restore volume, skin texture, and facial contours. During your Sculptra filler appointment, you will speak with one of our skilled aesthetic practitioners at The Skin Retreat in Little Rock, Arkansas, about your concerns and desired outcomes.
With decades of experience in cosmetic treatments, we are committed to helping our patients safely achieve their desired aesthetic goals with natural results.
What to Expect During Sculptra Filler
A numbing cream or an injection to numb the treated area and ensure maximum patient comfort will be applied. The practitioner will inject the Sculptra into targeted areas to stimulate collagen production in the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and restoring lost volume.
The procedure typically takes about 45 minutes. You will be instructed to massage for 5 minutes 5 times for five days; “Rule of 5”.
What to Expect After Sculptra Filler
After Sculptra injections, you may experience mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site. You can gently apply makeup; however, swelling or bruising should resolve within a few days after treatment.
If discomfort persists, reach for Tylenol as needed. Arnica creams can also help with bruising, swelling, and pain. You may begin to see enhanced results within the first month.
